App Build Studio operates the Duplicate File Finder Remover mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

1. All Files Access Permission (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)

To deliver its core functionality, this app requires the "All Files Access" permission. This is essential for the app to scan, identify, and manage duplicate files across all directories of your device storage. Our system is specifically designed to handle a wide range of file formats:

Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP
Videos: MP4, AVI, MKV, MOV
Audio: MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC
Documents: PDF, DOC, TXT, XLS
Archives: ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR
Applications & System Files: APK, EXE, DMG

Technical Justification: Standard media permissions (MediaStore API) only index media files and do not provide access to Documents, Archives, or Application packages. To find duplicates in these formats and to perform File Restoration (moving files back to their original paths), full storage access is technically required.

2. Smart Bin & File Restoration

Our app includes an internal Bin (Recycle Bin) feature to protect users from accidental data loss.

Temporary Deletion: When you select files to delete, they are first moved to the internal Bin.
Restoration: Users have the option to Restore any file from the Bin back to its specific original directory. This operation requires full file management access to ensure the file is placed correctly in the file system.
Permanent Deletion: Users can manually empty the Bin to permanently free up storage space.

We respect your privacy. All scanning, detection, and restoration processes are performed locally on your device. No personal files or data are ever uploaded, stored, or shared with our servers.

In the event of an app error, we collect Log Data through Firebase Crashlytics. This data includes device information, operating system version, and app performance stats to help us identify and fix bugs.

⚠️ Disclaimer of Liability App Build Studio is not responsible for any data loss occurring after the user confirms Permanent Deletion from the Bin. It is the user's sole responsibility to review files before confirming deletion. Once permanently deleted, files cannot be recovered via this application.

We use commercially acceptable means to protect your data locally. However, please be aware that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

This Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
